Each child learns in their own way and on their own day. Create Learners adapts to keep children engaged and learning throughout the day. We understand that some learn best being barefoot, spinning, eating, dancing and tapping. We have also created a sensory room with a "safe place" to work through and talk about emotions.

Wondergarten

At Create Learners, we want children to slow down and be present. Wondergarten explores memories that will last while lessons may fade. This is not just a curriculum but a way of life. We are here to create a childhood your child will never forget.

A Year of Playing Skillfully

This is a wonder based, developmental school year curriculum designed for children ages 2-7. Concrete themes and character traits have been carefully chosen for children to explore. Research based learning opportunities address the needs of the developing brain in the following areas: Language and Literacy, Math and Manipulatives, Science and Sensory, Art and Music, Gross Motor and Outdoor Play, and Social Emotional and Home Life.

Conscious Discipline

Conscious Discipline is an evidence-based, trauma-informed approach. It is recognized by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration’s (SAMHSA’s) National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP), and received high ratings in 8 of 10 categories in a Harvard analysis of the nation’s top 25 social-emotional learning programs. The Harvard study’s authors say, “Conscious Discipline provides an array of behavior management strategies and classroom structures that teachers can use to turn everyday situations into learning opportunities.”
